Creative arts is mandatory for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts where they learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform.
Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives.

2018 art competitions
A BIG congratulation to Mallak in KB!
She has won a trip to Taronga Zoo for all her classmates and Miss Berry.
The school recently entered Mallak's bright and colourful painting of birds into the QBE School Banner Competition held by Sydney Taronga Zoo. The judges were so impressed with Mallak's creative artwork that they chose her design, out of all the other Early Stage 1 entries, to win a very special prize.
As well as going to the zoo for the day, they will be special guests at a bird show and be able to view some "behind the scenes" tours. Mallak's artwork is going to be made into an advertising banner that will be displayed throughout the zoo.
Fairvale PS is so proud of this amazing accomplishment. Well done Mallak!
