Intellectual Domain
We extend students’ learning through enriching experiences that foster higher-order thinking, deep inquiry, and advanced understanding across all areas of the curriculum.
Enrichment Classes
Our Enrichment Classes provide students with opportunities to explore concepts in greater depth and apply their learning in more complex and creative ways. These experiences help extend their thinking, strengthen their skills, and nurture their individual talents. By engaging in challenging and stimulating activities, students can further develop their potential across a range of learning domains.
Debating
Participation in school debating nurtures students’ talents in the intellectual and social-emotional domains by providing them opportunities to develop and extend their skills in communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. Through structured argument and respectful discussion, students learn to think deeply and express ideas with clarity and confidence.
Chess Club
Students in our Chess Club develop strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and concentration as they compete in inter-school matches. Through these games, they build confidence, learn good sportsmanship, and enjoy connecting with students from other schools who share their passion for chess
Spelling Bee
The annual Premier's Spelling Bee is a fun, engaging and educational way for NSW public primary students in Year 3-6 to improve spelling and vocabulary while promoting literacy skills in combination with the English syllabus.
International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS)
Each year, students have the opportunity to participate in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS), an academic competition that challenges students in areas such as English, Mathematics, Science and Writing. These assessments provide an opportunity for students to extend their learning, test their skills, and celebrate their academic achievements.
